40 Day Journey - Day 19

Fast Complacency
Galatians 3:28,29
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs to the promise.
This verse in Galatians reveals our connection to Abraham's covenant with God. In this promise great blessing is promised, from the ground we possess to the health of our body, Abraham was one who enjoyed great favor with God through his journey of faith. We too are of the same seed of faith because of our being in Christ Jesus. There is no difference between Jew and gentile, male or female, and in Paul's time, slave or free.
Through Jesus Christ we have all been made heirs of the promise (God's favor). Many get disturbed over a positive spiritual mentality but truly we have a reason to live expecting the best ... after all our Heavenly Father sent us His best by sending us a perfect Savior, Jesus Christ. So as heirs of the promise enjoy your covenant rights and live as Abraham's seed, through Christ you are an heir in the kingdom of God and through the Holy Ghost we cry out papa (daddy) to a Heavenly Father that IS love!!!
Matthew 8:5-13
5When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6“Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”7Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”8The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”10When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.11I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.12But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”13Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”And his servant was healed at that moment.
Fast complacency today by expecting great things as a redeemed child of God and do something out of faith changing up your normal routine knowing something good is about to happen.

Great word. May I never feel adequate or satisfied in my walk of faith. Lord let your presence rain down upon your church as our hearts awaken to your glory.
May we walk in the favor of God as heirs of His promise.
Have your way LORD!
