21 Days of Gratitude - Day 1
Thanks-Living A Life of Gratitude Towards The Lord
“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”
Psalms 9:1 NIV
As you start this 21 days of gratitude with this psalm of David we find the only way one should give thanks to the Lord.
First: make it personal : "to you Lord," this is not just a generic thank you that many offer up with little thought, but a personal interaction with the Lord.
Second: let your thank you come from the heart. This word heart comes from a Hebrew word meaning mind, knowledge, thinking, reflection, memory and also emotions and passions.
Third: show your thankfulness to the Lord in what you share with others “I will tell (proclaim) all of your wonderful deeds.”
My Response: With all that I am Lord this day I honor you with my thoughts, words, and actions.
