21 Days of Gratitude - Day 15

Thankful for the Ability to Give

“This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant toward you. First he supplies every need, plus more. Then he multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow.”
2 Corinthians 9:10 TPT

Giving, a word that brings with it many thoughts, some may be in despair for not having anything to give, yet others may always rejoice because they seem to always have more than enough to share.

Truly giving is an attitude that can break the cycle of the self life. Self life is where one can only think of themself. The self life usually conjures thoughts of “if I had more money, time, ability, knowledge,” etc. I’d give toward this need.

Seed only grows and multiplies when it is sowed, so what one needs is not more seed, but to sow from what they have into a need and soon it will grow into a harvest.
Live a life bigger than yourself…be a giver.

My Response: To be thankful for the ability to give from that which I receive.
