Thankful for Family and Dear Friends
“A dear friend will love you no matter what, and a family sticks together through all kinds of trouble.” Proverbs 17:17 TPT
We all know this verse to be true especially when it comes to family. Someone may speak badly in regards to their family causing you to come to the conclusion that they dislike their relatives, but you will find a total reversal of their emotions as soon as “you” say something negative about their family. While family life has its ups and downs at times most still tend to stick together during trouble.
Dear friends are those who listen with a compassionate heart without offering judgment.
And of course sometimes you may even have a friend that is even closer to you than family.
My response: To be thankful for the family and friends I have whether few or many.
