Fast Undependability

Proverbs 3:3,4
Let love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablets of your heart. Then you will win favor and have a good name in the sight of God and man.

        We strive for much in this life but there are no greater treasures we can possess than love and faithfulness. These possessions will bring joy and satisfaction to your life when allowed to take root in your life. As we devote ourselves to loving God and others we will find satisfaction in our hearts because our accomplishments are no longer about us but about our God and others. With love around our neck it is seen, with it in our heart it is felt - so our love is noticed by others and directs us closer to God and others as it impacts our life.
        Then there is an enduring faithfulness which is a rare quality, for it continues no matter how rough the day, week, month or year might be. Many will turn from being faithful for a moment, minute, an hour or even many days if they can justify it in their own eyes. But the Word today tells us that we should bind it around our necks and write it our hearts.
        So you are encouraged to write both love and faithfulness on your heart - in other words make them your heart's daily desire and wear them around your neck in order for them to be seen, so others will know they are what we value most in life. When you do this you will win favor with God and others and when your name is spoken it will always be because of the goodness others have seen coming from your life.  
         
Galatians 5:13-15
13You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

Today fast being undependability, as you apply yourself to being faithful and showing love to all you meet or in whatever situation you may encounter.
